Fundraiser for Polio

Let me start out by saying...

I just realized I didn't post last Saturday. 

 

I'm still trying to put a post up every Saturday but I guess I'm going to miss a couple of them. 

I apologize before hand. haha 

 

Moving on...

This last Thursday I participated in a concert to help with the polio fundraiser at my school.

 

Even through there was some rushing and some weird notes at times...

 

our soloists for Scenes from the Emerald Isle did great!

Also, I've also been interested in doing the 1,000 paper cranes project...

 

 

well... at least 100 paper cranes.

 

I love that the weather is getting warmer.

 

 Still...

 

Time to go make some tea... yum.

The Story of Bottled Water

I watched this video on bottled water a couple days ago in my AP Earth Environmental class

and thought it made some good points.

I decided that it might be something to post,

in case someone else found it interesting.

 

Anyways, off to practice my cello...

Locks of Love

Cut my hair for Locks of Love for the 2nd time yesterday.

Last time was in 7th grade when I gave 10 inches of hair.

This time I decided to do 12 inches...

I needed a change from long hair. ;P

Never realized how easy short hair is to take care of. 

Now I know. =]

Saturdays

So... as I said...

I'm trying to post every Saturday. 

Made it through the first week of a new semester...

Yay! 

I've been thinking about selling the things I make...

maybe through Esty... 

but I'm still thinking about it.

I'll post more latter if/when it happens.

Anyways... for today's link I have a blog. 

This would be Color Me Katie,

who pretty much was the one who inspired me to start a blog. 

She's often tries to find ways to brighten peoples days,

not only through her blog,

but also around New York City.

She works with a group called Improv Everywhere,

if you have never heard of it I will also post a video from them below.

Her blog is always full of color and interesting ideas,

New Semester!

It is a new semester at school! Exciting.

Two AP class... Bring. It. On.

Means it will be harder to get on and post but...

I'll try for every Saturday. 

I might also try to start posting a few blogs...

or crafts...

or other fun websites on here every Saturday.

New Room

Last weekend I moved into my new room.. 

I would have to say I'm loving it!

Also.

Tried out for all state orchestra today...

Not sure if I made it yet

but if not, I still had a blast!

Definitely thinking about trying out next year too!

For Christmas I got a...

Since then I have been picture crazy...
