Warm Weekend

This weekend felt like it could be Summer...

and so, I ended up taking pictures of some flowers.

And the view across the road. 

 

I don't know what feeling like Summer has to do with these pictures,

but I found them very Springy.

Prom 2012

Went to my first prom yesterday...

and I must say that it was a blast!

Went with some of my favorite people and had a great time dancing!

So very glad I went.

Strawberrys

The other day we went strawberry picking! 

When I was little, I use to love picking (mostly eating) strawberries... 

looks like someone else does too. 

Just like old times... plus Nate. =]

Thursday I got accepted into National Honor Society. 

This was the invitation..

And this was the induction ceremony. 

It was pretty dark in there so we couldn't get any great photos, but I tried making them lighter with Gimp. 

So that was something exciting that went on this week. 

Also, I finally figured out how to work the shutter speed on my camera... sort of. 

After learning how to do that I made this with a flash light (I've been wanting to try it for a while now).

Thought that was pretty cool and felt like sharing it. 

 

Anyways, happy Easter...  tomorrow!

April Fools!

Actually, I'll admit it, I haven't done anything for April Fools Day.

Oh well... maybe next year. haha 

The other day our wisteria bloomed though! 

What a pretty shade of purple. =]

Can't believe it has already been a year...

it seemed like I was deciding on a name and layout only a couple weeks ago.

Bottle Cap Belt

Second day of the three day weekend and I have no AP English homework!

It's feels so nice to have a break.

Today I decided that I need to make something again...

so I made this belt out of some bottle caps that I had smashed a while ago.

I really like how it turned out and will probably wear it Monday.
