It's been one year since I started The Yellow Bus!

Can't believe it has already been a year...

it seemed like I was deciding on a name and layout only a couple weeks ago. 

I really just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has been a regular visitor (or a new one) of the blog.

Bottle Cap Belt

Second day of the three day weekend and I have no AP English homework!

It's feels so nice to have a break.

Today I decided that I need to make something again...

so I made this belt out of some bottle caps that I had smashed a while ago.

I really like how it turned out and will probably wear it Monday.

Anyways, have a nice weekend everyone.

Orchestra Contest

On the 15th my orchestra group went to contest.

After all the work we made all 1's

(the highest score you can get)

and the recording of Emerald Isle sounded professional! 

I was very excited about that.

Also, it's almost spring again!

That means the flowers are blooming.

Although, with the flowers has come lots of afternoon rain.

I learned that the rain is hard to take a picture of. 

 

But this one suits it's purpose just fine. 

Anyways, I'm off to write an illustration/ exemplification essay...

Lemon Streusel Muffins

Isaac received this book for Christmas...

And now we make muffins almost every Sunday. =] 

Last Sunday we made the Lemon Streusel Muffins.

The result was this...

And bunch of yummy. 

It would have to be one of my favorites (so far...) 

and I just had to share it!

If you would like to make some of your own, here is the recipe.

 I would also recommend the book "750 Best Muffin Recipes."

The instructions are easy to follow and if the recipe is made right...

you will almost always get wonderful tasting muffins.

 Eye's are quite beautiful/interesting... don't you think?

Ever since I saw this, I have been quite interested in taking photos of eyes.

Although I can't zoom in as much as those photos, I still think these are pretty good.
