Beach Trip

Last week we went to the beach.

This was Nate's first trip to the beach and he loved it.  

It was like some sort of giant salty pool and sandbox to him.

We also saw turtles...

 and plenty of seagulls!

 Today I went out and decided.. 

to pick a random flower..

and take pictures with it! haha

The following are the ones that turned out the best... (in my opinion.)

This next type of photo is kind of new to me...

I've never really taken a picture of just my eyes like that.

I think it will be my self portrait of the day though. haha

Painting

Today we finished painting Isaac's room...

... yeah it got pretty messy.
 

Actually, not quite that bad. 

Plus it's not really those colors but it looks pretty good. ;P

Also made this today...

I used some of the chalkboard paint used on Isaac's walls..

and an old mason jar..

and got this!

Really like how it turned out. =]

Yeah.. I think I have a good start on it. ;P

Super Powers

Its day three of the portrait project...

I decided to do something with "super powers."

This is what was created because of it...

Told you I would do something with the green light. ;P

I wish I had done it a little differently..

but... I still like it a lot. haha

Song of Storms

I was practicing my viola when all of a sudden...

it started to rain.

This made me think of "Song of Storms" off of Zelda...

which made me want to learn it on viola.

(That didn't get very far...)

Then I remembered my portrait project ... 

and just had to do something involving the rain and the viola. ;P 

This is how it turned out...

 

So the story is... 

I was playing "Song of Storms" on my viola...

and made it rain! 

Not really... but it's fun to think. 

(By the way, I did NOT take my viola out into the rain.... this is photo shopped. haha)

30 Days of Self Portraits?

I think I'm going try a project where you make a self portrait

everyday... for 30 days.

I'll see how long this will last due to the fact 

that I also have my 365 days project where I make something everyday going on. 

(On day 140!)

 Anyways... this is today's picture.

Also... I just got back from the beach!
